Listen to a video presentation by a panel of
five EPA alumni mangers as they discuss their implementation of the Toxic Substances Control Act over much of its 35-year history and answer questions from the audience.
The panelists offer insights into "lessons learned" and reflect on reforms that might cure some of the problems they encountered.
The March 3, 2011 panel was sponsored by the Chemical Heritage Foundation which has conducted a much more extensive project to record the oral history of the Toxic Substanes Control Act. Details of their project can be found on
the Foundation's website.
The panelists were:
Jim Aidala
Charlie Auer
Chuck Elkins
Mark Greenwood, and
