The EPA of the Future: Conference in April 2019

Conference in April 2019

With the Association’s assistance, American University will host a multi-stakeholder conference on Future Directions for Environmental Progress and EPA’s Role in April 2019.

In preparation, the University is drafting a pre-conference paper that draws on the focus group reports, the survey of EPA Alumni Association members and interviews with other parties. The conference will feature several former EPA administrators and other prominent experts.

Further workshops outside Washington may follow, involving many other groups. The University and the Association are interested in talking with parties that might be interested in sponsoring such workshops.

American University and the EPA Alumni Association hope that the conference and the workshops will contribute to an important public dialogue by helping stakeholders review the subject of Future Directions for Environmental Progress and EPA’s Role, speak up knowledgably, and find common ground.
