This information is made available to all persons who register themselves as former employees (“Alumni”) of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Members are able to restrict access to some of the data fields, but other members must be able to use the information submitted to contact the member in question. If a member terminates his membership, his information will remain on the site unless he requests otherwise.

The information is protected by requiring that all prospective members fill out a profile providing information about their prior employment at EPA. Once registered, members must sign in with a password. This provides some assurance that the information is not available to non-members. However, it is not possible to prevent all cheatng or hacking of the site, and under these circumstances, information provided by other members could become available to non-members.
The Association may disclose information from users with your permission or in very special circumstances such as (a) when required by law; (b) when necessary to bring legal action against you or someone else who may be violating the Terms of Use/Service or otherwise violating or harming the rights, property or interests of the Association; and (c) when the Association believes it is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activity.
The Association may change this privacy policy from time to time. The Association will notify you of any such changes by posting notice of the changes on the Association homepage. If you object to any such changes, your sole recourse shall be to cease using the Association Website. Continued use of the Association Web site following notice of any such changes shall indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes.
